Der Krieg gegen Unwillkommene und die Schwierigkeit, darauf zu antworten

Calais, eine kleine Stadt im Norden Frankreichs zeigt exemplarisch die hässliche Fratze der Festung Europas. An dieser Grenze sterben Menschen. Immer und immer wieder. Diese Grenze tötet physisch und mental. Und sie multipliziert sich: auf einmal taucht da die Grenze des eigenen Mutes auf. Die Grenze der Hoffnung. Die Grenze des Machbaren.

Calais ist gezeichnet durch Polizeirepression. Durch Staatsgewalt. Aber wenn ich an Calais denke, kommen noch mehr Bilder: Territoriumskonflikte, Rassismus, Sexismus, Zwangsprostitution. Faschist_innen. Fragen der eigenen Verantwortung oder Schuld, hier und dort, von Europa und mir, drehen sich im Kreis. Ich denke an Angst, Wut und Überforderung. Und immer wieder ist da die Frage nach Sinn und Unsinn.

Aber vor allem geht es um Widerstand. Und um mehr als Worte. Überall.

Infoveranstaltung „Against the 2014 World Cup in Brazil“

Eine Anarchistin aus Rio de Janeiro berichtet über die soziale Situation und die Kämpfe rund um die diesjährige Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft in Brasilien:

From the 23th april to the 21th may 2014, we are doing a benefit and Information Tour Against the World Cup in Brazil. The meaning of this tour is to present the situation in this country, to explain the social conflicts and to support the riot movements. We would like to make some projections and discussions about this subject This tour is being organized to support the movement “Against the 2014 World Cup in Brazil”. The experiences from the last riots in Brazil and the Special Security Laws that are gonna be used during the World Cup, show us that the repression will be very high. In some cities, some solidarity groups were formed to get prepared to the repression during the world cup. The money that will be raised during this tour will be sent to the ABC (Anarchist Black Cross) Rio de Janeiro and will be used to support the resistance publicity, pay the fines and the bails for people that get arrested, the costs with process in the justice, and eventually, the needs of people in jail.

Deutschsprachiger Vortrag von zwei Aktivist_innen: „SHAC made history“
Die Kampagne Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) hatte einen enormen Einfluss auf die internationale Tierbefreiungsbewegung. Durch den Kampf gegen das Tierversuchslabor Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) hat die Kampagne die globale Tierversuchsindustrie als Ganzes herausgefordert. Die Stärke und Wirksamkeit des Kampfes gegen HLS hat dazu geführt, dass die repressiven Vorgehensweisen und Massnahmen eskalierten: es gab etliche Verhaftungen und Hausdurchsuchungen, zahlreiche Aktivist_innen mussten mehrere Jahre in Haft verbringen und andere leiden immer noch unter den ihnen aufgezwungenen Einschränkungen, welche zum Teil bis an ihr Lebensende andauern werden. Das „SHAC Made History“ Projekt wurde in Italien im Jahr 2013 gegründet und hat zum Ziel, Solidarität mit den Gefährt_innen zu erzeugen, welche die Staatsrepression aufgrund ihrer Entschlossenheit, gegen die Gräueltaten der Tierversuche anzukämpfen, erfuhren oder momentan erleben. Während dem Vortrag werden einige der Aktivist_innen einen Überblick über die Geschichte der Kampagne und der darauf folgenden Repressionswelle geben, mit besonderem Fokus auf einen der jüngsten Fälle, den „Blackmail 3“-Fall (www.blackmail3.org).
